Terms & Conditions

These terms explain the basis on which we quote, produce and deliver your orders. Please read them before placing a request.

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the 8848 Labs website and your engagement of our design and manufacturing services. 8848 Labs is a venture of PATHAK & SON'S, based in Kathmandu, Bagmati Province, Nepal. By requesting a quote or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

Quotes & Orders

  • Quotes are estimates based on the information and files you provide and remain valid for the period stated in the quote.
  • An order is confirmed once you approve the quote and any required deposit is received.
  • Final pricing may change if the design, material, quantity, or specifications are revised after quoting.

Design Files & Responsibility

  • You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to reproduce any design, artwork, or logo you submit.
  • We are not liable for defects arising from errors, tolerances, or omissions in files you supply.
  • Where we create a design on your behalf, we will confirm details with you before production.

Production & Turnaround

  • Turnaround times are estimates and begin once the order and files are finalized.
  • 3D printing is a physical process; minor variations in color, finish, and dimensions within normal tolerances are expected.
  • We quality-check every part before delivery, but printed parts are not guaranteed for uses beyond those discussed at quoting.

Payment

  • Payment terms are stated in your quote. A deposit may be required before production begins.
  • Full payment is due before delivery or pickup unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Delivery & Pickup

  • We deliver within Kathmandu and to major cities in Nepal, with pickup available from our studio.
  • Delivery timelines depend on your location and courier availability and are not guaranteed.

Cancellations, Refunds & Revisions

  • Because most work is custom-made, orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun.
  • If a delivered part does not match the agreed specification, contact us promptly and we will reprint or correct it.
  • Refunds, where applicable, are handled case by case and exclude custom design and material costs already incurred.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 8848 Labs and PATHAK & SON'S are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of our products or services. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount paid for that order.
